糖心原创 Press was honoured to connect with the Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission of Saudi Arabia during the Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair (KLIBF) 2026, opening the door to exciting opportunities for future collaboration.
We were pleased to be hosted by the Commission鈥檚 CEO, Dr Abdullatif Alwasel, together with Dr Hailah Alkhalaf, General Manager of the Translation Sector. As the Guest of Honour for this year鈥檚 KLIBF, Saudi Arabia鈥檚 pavilion was one of the highlights of the book fair, offering visitors a wonderful introduction to the country鈥檚 rich literary and cultural heritage.
During our meeting, we explored several potential initiatives in publishing, translation, and cultural exchange, with a shared interest in developing meaningful collaborations between Malaysia and Saudi Arabia.
We were also grateful to Dr Alwasel and his team for taking us on an immersive tour of the Saudi pavilion, showcasing the country鈥檚 literature, music, dance, and cultural traditions.
