Biography
Professor Arkendu Sen is a ophthalmologist-turned-innovator, and international award-winner who has spent two decades transforming health professions education through technology earning recognition across three continents. A double winner of the Ron Harden Innovation in Medical Education Award and recipient of the Australian Government OLT citation for University Teaching, and multiple ProVC/Dean and ITEX awards he has pioneered technology-enhanced non dissection anatomy pedagogy, augmented reality, and AI-integrated medical education. His teaching excellence has been featured on Bloomberg TV, mentioned in Australian Parliament, and permanently archived in the National Library of Australia. He holds a Malaysian utility innovation patent for networked multi touch learning ecosystems), publishes and focusses on AI and digital health education and supervises multidisciplinary projects that translate educational research into learning technologies.
